The new BLVD Music Store turned its grand opening into a show on Aug. 21, providing music and food for an enthusiastic crowd. Couched, Jordan Hull and Sons of Lions were the first night’s acts for the two-night event in the location on the corner of Belmont and Bernard that was Buzzy’s Candy last year.  Highlights of the event, clockwise from top right, are the performance by Couched, a Belmont band; a look at the new store, which will sell used instruments on consignment and other music accesories; and a chance to sample the offerings of Moovers and Shakers, Belmont’s milkshake entrepreneurs. (And, by the way, you can still get candy — Buzzy’s moved two doors down.)
