Molly Zeytoonian, known as Molly Grace, wasted no time after her Belmont University graduation and took the Bonnaroo stage this summer after winning the 2024 Best of the Best showcase.

“The excitement kind of took over the nerves on the day of because we were all a little starstruck by the whole experience,” said Zeytoonian.“It was just the most gratifying thing ever.”

Zeytoonian grew comfortable as a musician and performer through her education in Commercial Voice and Music Business.

“In the performance aspect, vocal health and using my instrument in a rehearsal setting, knowing how to communicate what I want on the business side, I got such a broad view of the industry that I have kind of a radar in my head,” said Zeytoonian.

Starting off at Belmont in 2020 during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, Zeytoonian promoted her music by sliding fliers under doors, printing QR codes and posting them on campus, and she quickly implemented digital methods to spread her artistry. Despite her unconventional freshman year, Zeytoonian has garnered 6 million combined streams on Spotify.

Zeytoonian’s stage presence at Belmont showcases like Best of the Best translated to her first tour, The Lovesick tour.

“It was the best in the world. It was very affirming and a great sign that I could do this forever,” said Zeytoonian.

After gaining four years of performing experience at Belmont, Zeytoonian was equipped to join the Bonnaroo lineup.

“By the time we got to Bonnaroo, we were ready to step up to that challenge,” said Zeytoonian.
