Belmont Student Dies During Holiday Break

It’s the second day of classes, and there’s sad news at Belmont University. 


Regan Hockenberry, a freshman music business major, died over the holiday break, Belmont President Greg Jones said in an email Thursday. 


Hockenberry is the fifth Belmont student who has died in the 2023-24 academic year.
