For the second year in a row, Belmont’s student-run Boulevard Record Shop will participate in Record Store Day on Saturday — a nationwide celebration of record shops, vinyl and music.
To celebrate, Boulevard will have roughly 60 exclusive Record Store Day records in stock, but won’t be revealing specifically which ones in advance.
To find out, students need to show up at the store’s early 8 a.m. opening.
Boulevard will also celebrate Record Store Day with in-store acoustic performances from 11-4 p.m..
Then at 6 p.m., Boulevard will crank up the volume with headlining sets from Comedie, Miki Fiki and The Thing With Feathers. Tickets are $5 at the door.
