While many students take off on a spring break trip, some Bruins are staying on the boulevard and will have to rely on the reduced dining options for their meals.
On Friday, Belmont ResLife posted campus dining hours for the mid-semester break. Chick-fil-A and Corner Court will be the only eateries open during the week.
Belmont’s main cafeteria, Harrington Place Dining, is set to close at 7 p.m. Friday and won’t open again until dinnertime on Sunday, March 20.
Corner Court, located by the Jack C. Massey College of Business, will close over the weekend and open 7:30 a.m. to 2 p.m Monday through Saturday.
Over on Belmont Boulevard, McAllister’s will also be closed until March 20. Chick-fil-A will be closed on Sunday, as per usual, but will be open 11 a.m to 2 p.m during the break.
Because what is spring break without waffle fries?
The Starbucks in the Janet Ayers Academic Center will be closed until March 20 as well, but Belmont-favorite Bongo Java will be open throughout the break if you need that early-morning espresso.
And while operations will slow down on campus, there are loads of local restaurants in nearby 12 South to pay a visit to, like Burger Up and Martin’s Bar-B-Que Joint. Or check out 615 Deli or Funtime Ramen, steps away on Portland Avenue.
Stay fed this week, and from the Belmont Vision to you: happy spring break!
