Country artist Kenzie Palmer is a commercial music major from West Middlesex, Pennsylvania. As a senior, she hopes to continue writing music and performing after graduation. But first things first: Saturday’s Country Showcase.
Besides releasing singles and playing writer’s rounds, Palmer has spent the last year working on her submission materials.
“I know how many people work to get into this showcase, and being selected for a live audition is an honor and blessing in itself,” she said.
Her hard work paid off, and she can’t wait to perform inside the Curb Event Center with her amazing band, she said.
Her passion for music and performing will make for an exciting performance at Saturday’s showcase.
“My goal for performing is always to make sure the audience is having fun, along with myself and my band,” Palmer said.
Beyond the showcase, Palmer plans on pursuing a career as an artist, noting the uncertainty of the music industry, she said.
“Of course, there’s not a specific path,” Palmer said.
However, she will be focused on getting her music out there and being heard by as many people as possible. The Country Showcase is just one of the first steps.
Make sure to catch Palmer at the Country Showcase on Saturday at 7 p.m.
