Anthony Donovan, the director of Residence Life, is no longer employed by Belmont.
Resident assistants were sent an email this morning announcing his departure from Belmont.
Donovan was the director of ResLife and the associate dean of students for almost 24 years.
“In the interim, Dr. Cady Tice will be shifting from her role as the Associate Director to fill the role of Interim Director of Residence Life until a replacement for this role is found,” said Residence Life in an email to RAs.
It is not known how or why Donovan left.
“Anthony Donovan is no longer employed at Belmont University, as of Nov. 12,” said Belmont communications in a statement. “We have every confidence in our remaining Residence Life team to navigate University housing until a replacement for this role is found.”
Donovan’s Belmont profile has been deleted and is no longer accessible from the website as of Tuesday morning.
