The dynamic duo of rappers Drake and 21 Savage is Music City bound.
As part of Drake’s “It’s All a Blur” tour, the tandem will perform inside Bridgestone Arena on June 19.
Drake last made an appearance in Nashville in 2018 with the Atlanta-based hip hop group Migos, now he’s back for more with even more hits.
Fresh off their collab album “Her Loss,” Drizzy and the Slaughter King are ready to bring the action to Broadway.
Will they perform “Rich Flex,” “Sneakin’” or “Knife Talk?”
Belmont students will have to wait and see, but for now, they’re soaking up all the hype.
For some die-hard fans, it’s been too long.
The thought of Drake returning is more than exciting.
“He always brings energy when he performs so it will be awesome having him back.” said Sophomore Jadeyn Strohmeyer. "It’s been years since a tour, so I know he’s going to go crazy with 21.”
Other Drake fans are reminiscent of the past when they think about Drake coming to their city.
“I heard the news about Drake and 21 Savage coming to Nashville and my initial reaction was, ‘Life is good, you know what I mean?’” freshman Blake Ftacek said, referencing Drake’s hit feature on Future’s 2020 song.
If anyone has plans to attend the show, they must prepare their wallets.
Upper-level seats inside the arena are on-sale for upwards of $200 with prices increasing approaching the ground level.
A high price to pay to see a concert that has the potential to be the best show of the year.
