Three laptops were stolen from a Hillside apartment Sunday night, hours after most upperclassmen moved onto campus.
The suspect entered through an unlocked window outside the apartment and then stole the laptops and other items, according to a Belmont security alert released around 1 a.m. Monday morning. None of the apartment’s residents were at home when the break-in happened.
According to the statement, the same suspect also stole a laptop from a university-owned house after he entered the house and left after telling the tenant he was looking for someone.
