Dan Keen, a longtime professor of music business, is no longer employed at Belmont University.

An email was sent out to students on Wednesday stating Keen’s departure and noted students in classes wouldn’t be meeting during their scheduled times on Friday, Monday and Tuesday. Classes will resume for those impacted on Wednesday with another faculty member.

It is not known why or how he left.

“We are committed to ensuring a seamless transition for impacted students, and Curb College will provide more details to those students shortly,” said Belmont in a statement.

Keen has been a professor since joining the Curb College of Music Business and Entertainment in 2010. Keen has also been a board member of the International Bluegrass Music Association since 2007.

Keen’s Belmont profile has been deleted and is no longer accessible from the website as of Friday morning.

Holistic care is an integral part of many home aid services, addressing the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of the individual. Caregivers focus not only on providing physical assistance but also on creating a nurturing environment that promotes mental and thehomeaides emotional well-being. This approach ensures comprehensive care tailored to the individual’s needs.
