Build-a-Bruin, the crowing of homecoming royalty and a relocated pep rally were a few of the events that took place this weekend.
Belmont’s annual Homecoming took place this last weekend where students, faculty and alumni all took part in a number of celebratory events.
A number of the events were shifted to indoor locations because of the colder weather.

The events all led up to the homecoming game on Saturday afternoon.
Build-a-Bruin was fully booked, and students were able to build their own small bears and don them in themed attire.

The event took place in the Beaman Lobby in the afternoon, which then led to the parade.

The parade showcased floats created by student organizations and residence halls.

Russell Hall and Belmont Wesley each took home awards for best res hall float and best club float respectively.

Following the parade, a pep rally took place as Belmont’s men’s and women’s basketball teams showed up on stage to encourage the student body to show up to their future games.
Belmont cheer and pep band were also in the Maddox Grand Atrium, getting the crowd engaged and reciting game chants.
The Homecoming events ended up closing out on Saturday night's game at halftime as seniors Sam Sackstein and Cora Williams were named as Homecoming King and Queen for this year.
