PHOTOS: Belmont Bruins basketball dominates doubleheader against Tennessee Tech

The Belmont Bruins men’s basketball team defeated Tennessee Tech 82-70 at home Saturday morning.

The Bruins maintained their winning streak with their ninth straight win. Senior Evan Bradds led the Bruins with 23 points and eight rebounds. TTU senior Hakeem Rogers lead their team with 18 points and two rebounds.

The Bruins remain undefeated in the Ohio Valley Conference. The men will play on the road against the Eastern Illinois Panthers Wednesday night with a tip off time of 7 p.m.

Women’s basketball also defeated TTU, 89-75, and maintained their undefeated season in the OVC as well as maintaining their winning streak for the past 10 games.

Junior Kylee Smith led the team with 21 points.

TTU junior Yaktavia Hickson led their team with 37 points. The women’s basketball team will play the Tennessee State Lady Tigers on the road on Jan. 28 with a tip off time of 5:30 p.m.
