Singer-songwriter and pianist Sara Bareilles is coming to Belmont for a Curb Event Center concert at 7:30 p.m. on Sunday, April 15.
“…and Belmont students, faculty and staff can receive an exclusive discount,” according to Belmont’s Student FYI blog.
Tickets will be available starting Monday at 10 a.m. online and at the Curb Event Center box office: $15 for Belmont students, $20 for Belmont faculty and staff, and $25 for the general public.
Bareilles released her platinum-selling label debut “Little Voice” in 2007. The first radio single off that album, “Love Song,” was nominated for a Grammy in the same year. The song made waves in 22 countries and placed in the Billboard Hot 100 list. Her success continued in 2010 with her sophomore album, “Kaleidoscope Heart.” It became No. 1 in the United States and was deemed platinum by the RIAA. Her radio single, “King of Anything,” was also nominated for Best Female Pop Vocal Performance at the 2010 Grammy’s.
Bareilles has toured with Counting Crows, Maroon 5 and Sugarland as well as served as a celebrity judge on NBC’s “The Sing-Off.”
