After a break on Friday, the Bruins returned to the dirt on Saturday for a rematch against Western Kentucky.Â
Â
The Bruins started Saturday in the complete opposite fashion of the last time they played the Hilltoppers, scoring no runs and letting Western Kentucky score twice in the first inning. Â
Â
The Bruins appeared on the scoreboard at the top of the third inning, however, the Hilltoppers responded by putting another point on the board.Â
Â
Despite a double by Cockrill in the top of the fourth, the rest of the innings ended scoreless, making the final 3-1.Â
Â
Despite the loss, there was no recovery time, as their next matchup started right away against Eastern Kentucky. Â

Â
Finishing 0-2 on Saturday, the Bruins were ready to bounce back for the final day of The Buzz Classic. Â
Â
The game remained scoreless until the bottom of the third, where the Colonels offense picked up and brought 2 runs in. Â
Â
Holding onto the same momentum, Eastern Kentucky was able to put three more runs on the board at the bottom of the fourth, extending their lead to 5-0. Â
